Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of FlowingPulse ("FlowingPulse", "we", "us", or "our"), a financial runway tracker for indie developers and freelancers available at flowingpulse.com. By accessing or using the service you agree to be bound by these Terms. FlowingPulse is operated by KAKI.llc.
1. The service
FlowingPulse is a cashflow dashboard that helps solopreneurs import CSV data, visualize burn rate, project runway, and buffer for taxes. CSV parsing happens locally in your browser. Account information (such as your email address) is stored on our backend to authenticate you and deliver lifetime access.
2. Accounts
To unlock premium features you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that happens under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@kaki.llc if you suspect unauthorized use.
3. Lifetime license & pricing
FlowingPulse is offered as a one-time lifetime purchase of USD $19 ("Lifetime Access"). Payment is processed by PayPal. Once payment is confirmed, your account is granted a non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the service for your personal or single-business use for as long as the service is operated.
"Lifetime" means the operational lifetime of FlowingPulse. We do not guarantee that the service will remain available indefinitely, but we will provide reasonable notice if we decide to discontinue it.
4. Refunds — 30-day money-back guarantee
If FlowingPulse doesn't work for you, email hello@kaki.llc within 30 days of your purchase and we will refund your payment in full, no questions asked. After 30 days purchases are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.
Lifetime Access Term
1. Standard Refund
You may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase, no questions asked.
2. Product Lifecycle
"Lifetime" means the commercial lifetime of this product, not your lifetime. Should this product be permanently discontinued:
- We will notify all paid users via email at least 60 days before shutdown.
- You must submit a refund claim within 30 days of receiving the shutdown notice. Claims submitted after 30 days are waived.
- Compensation is based on how long you have owned the product:

3. Migration Alternative
KAKI LLC may, at its sole discretion, offer migration to a comparable product in lieu of a monetary refund.
4. Open Source
If technically feasible, KAKI LLC may release the product's source code under an open-source license, allowing users to self-host the service.
5. Limitation of Liability
The remedies described in this section constitute your sole and exclusive remedy for product discontinuation. KAKI LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from product shutdown.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to (a) resell, sublicense, or share your account with others; (b) reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service; (c) upload content that is unlawful, infringing, or malicious; or (d) use FlowingPulse to interfere with or disrupt any other user's experience.
6. Your data
You retain ownership of any financial data you process through FlowingPulse. Because CSV parsing happens client-side, we do not receive or store your transaction history. Our handling of the limited account data we do store is described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
FlowingPulse is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind. FlowingPulse is a planning tool, not professional financial, tax, or legal advice — see our Disclaimer. To the maximum extent permitted by law, KAKI.llc and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or related to your use of the service. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for FlowingPulse in the twelve months preceding the claim.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially breach these Terms. You may stop using FlowingPulse at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (licenses granted to us, disclaimers, liability limits, governing law) will survive.
9. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of FlowingPulse after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
